Barry and Lisa Rodgers established Rodgers & Co after Barry spent many years as a partner in one of the largest law practices in Rotorua.
Barry wanted to be able to take better control in providing a more personal, friendly service to the people of the Rotorua and surrounding areas. After a short time Rodgers & Co was set up on Pukaki Street, Rotorua and has since established an office in Tauranga as well.
It is the quality of service provided by dedicated professionals, that has made Rodgers & Co the exceptional company it is today!

After University he then commenced legal practice in Wellington and returned to Rotorua in 1986. Barry believes without a doubt that it's thanks to the close team here, Rodgers & Co is now one of the leading property law firms in the city.
He is available for his clients anytime of the day or night. If you are worried and need legal advice please don't hesitate to call.
Barry is married to Lisa, and has 3 daughters. He enjoys time with family, gardening, motorcycling and meeting new people.
Lisa Rodgers - Accounts
Lisa has always been a great strength to Barry and they have always worked well together. Lisa's input has been a huge part of the success that is Rodgers & Co.
While in general Lisa tends to keep a background status within the company she often works in conjunction with Marg overseeing the accounting side of the company.
Lisa has a natural flair for decor and has been inspirational in the design, upgrade, restoration and decoration of our premises both here in Rotorua and the new branch in Tauranga.
Marg Shuter - Office Manager
Marg is the Office Manager and is not only a crucial part of the team, but also the longest serving member.
Marg has brought her management skills to us having previously worked with another law firm in Rotorua. She ensures that the finer points of running the company are taken care of, allowing Barry the opportunity to spend more time with his clients.
After hours Marg is very well known for her achievements in training / teaching within the equestrian field.

Prior to that she was employed (1986 to 1992) as a Legal Executive with an Auckland law firm before relocating back to her home town of Rotorua in 2003. She joined a local law firm before joining the team in 2006.
She has experience in residential/commercial conveyancing, wills, enduring power or attorney documents and Estate Administration and looks after many of our clients with their sales, purchases, refinancing and other legal requirements on a daily basis. Jill always ensures her clients are kept informed along the way and have a worry free experience.

Mary Watson - Personal Assistant
Mary grew up in West Auckland, however has lived in Rotorua for many years and joined the team here at Rodgers & Co in July 2006 and has been in the legal industry for many years.
Because of Mary's experience in the industry she has brought a wealth of knowledge with her and is extremely highly skilled in her areas of expertise.
Obviously with Mary's experience and enthusiasm she was able to easily step in and immediately provide our clients with the personal and friendly service that our clients expect but not only that has been able to provide insight and quality support to other members of the team here at Rodgers & Co.
Mary has 3 sons and 3 stepchildren who reside both here and overseas with their families and keeps in regular contact with them all using the internet super highways.
Raylene Paahi - Personal Assistant
Raylene grew up in Auckland and is from the North Shore. Raylene has also lived in Rotorua for many years and joined the team here in July 2007. Again Raylene is very experienced in the legal industry.
It has never been straight forward becoming a Personal Assistant in the legal industry or Legal Secretary as it used to be referred, this is because of the unique nature of the legal language and the strict rules set out by the Courts for the layout of legal documents, so there is always a shortfall of the talented people in this area of the industry.
So once again we are extremely lucky to have the experience that Raylene has brought to the firm.
Raylene has 2 children a son and a daughter, both who reside overseas with their families, again modern technology like the internet brings them closer together.
