Barry and Lisa Rodgers established Rodgers & Co after Barry spent many years as a partner in one of the largest law practices in Rotorua.

Barry wanted to be able to take better control in providing a more personal, friendly service to the people of the Rotorua and surrounding areas. After a short time Rodgers & Co was set up on Pukaki Street, Rotorua, and has since established an office in Tauranga as well.

It is the quality of service provided by dedicated professionals that has made Rodgers & Co the exceptional company it is today!

Barry Rodgers - Director LLB

Having grown up in Rotorua attending Waikite Valley Primary School and Rotorua Boys High School, Barry then completed his education at Victoria University in Wellington.

After University he then commenced legal practice in Wellington and returned to Rotorua in 1986. Barry believes without a doubt that it's thanks to the close team here, Rodgers & Co is now one of the leading property law firms in the city.

Zoe Sims - Solicitor LLB

Zoe's work spans corporate and commercial, as well as private client and trust matters. Zoe regularly advises her clients on acquisitions or dispositions of shares or assets, commercial, rural and residential property matters, estate and succession planning, the division of relationship property, protection of personal assets and trust law.

Prior to joining Simply Law, Zoe worked at a top-tier law firm in Auckland in the Technology practice advising on all things technology related and worked on some of the largest NZ-based transactions in this space. Zoe graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a conjoint Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce.

Outside of work, Zoe loves to travel and spend time with friends and family.

Amy Hindrup - Solicitor LLB

Amy is a born and raised Rotorua local who is proud to call the region home. She graduated from Waikato University with a Bachelor of Law degree in 2011 and was admitted to the Bar the same year.

Following a time spent working in a small boutique law firm, Amy joined the Rodgers & Co team in 2019. She specialises in Estate Administration and Estate planning, including Wills and Enduring Power of Attorney, PPPR work, Residential Conveyancing, Occupation Right Agreements and more.

Amy is a friendly and approachable member of the team, who will communicate with you in a language you can easlily understand.

Jill Crowe - Registered Legal Executive NZILE

Jill is a Registered Legal Executive who joined the team at Rodgers & Co in April 2006. Prior to that she was employed (1986 to 1992) as a Legal Executive with an Auckland law firm before relocating back to her home town of Rotorua in 2003. She joined a local law firm before joining the team in 2006.

She has experience in residential/commercial conveyancing, wills, enduring power of attorney documents and Estate Administration and looks after many of our clients with their property sales, purchases, refinancing and other legal requirements on a daily basis. Jill always ensures her clients are kept informed along the way and have a worry free experience.

Delwyn Brunt - Registered Legal Executive NZILE

Delwyn is a Registered Legal Executive and passed her qualifications in 1995 while working at law firms in Auckland.

She joined our team here at Rodgers & Co in December 2005 and is currently working part-time providing our clients with a wide range of legal services.

Delwyn has a wealth of experience in the areas of trusts and properties and provides assistance to our clients with trust & estate planning, gifting, wills and powers of attorney.

Outside the office, Delwyn enjoys spending time with family and friends and keeps busy with her 3 daughters.

Mary Watson - Personal Assistant

Mary grew up in West Auckland, however has lived in Rotorua for many years and joined the team here at Rodgers & Co in July 2006 and has been in the legal industry for many years.

Because of Mary's experience in the industry she has brought a wealth of knowledge with her and is extremely highly skilled in her areas of expertise.

Obviously with Mary's experience and enthusiasm she was able to easily step in and immediately provide our clients with the personal and friendly service that our clients expect but not only that has been able to provide insight and quality support to other members of the team here at Rodgers & Co.

Mary has 3 sons and 3 stepchildren who reside both here and overseas with their families and keeps in regular contact with them all using the internet super highways.
